There were 8 Clubs present.
The September minutes were accepted as printed, by a motion of Dover and a second by Black Knight.
OFFICER REPORTS:
Executive V.P. James Mitchell
Jim noted that the Edison Sportsmen Show will be held January 10-13, 2002 at
the

noted that the SFAA-NJ lost approximately $40.00 or $50.00 on the Outdoor
States, due to the awarding of plaques
and medals to the winning archers.

noted that the applications for the heaviest deer award must be received before
our January meeting as the trophy will be awarded at that meeting.
So far the heaviest deer application received is for a 163 lb. deer.

Reimer asked the Exec. Board to meet and come up with an opinion on a
classification procedure for outdoor shoots.
The opinion was that in order to maintain your classification, you must
shoot ONE par score at least once each year; in the third year you must
be reclassified, if you have not shoot par in your class it will take two scores
to be reclassified.
Garden
State made a motion that the SFAA-NJ shoot a Field, Hunter and Animal round at
the 2002 Outdoor State Championship, second by
President
Reimer asked all Clubs hosting State Championship shoots in 2002 to send him
the
names, address and phone numbers of their contact people so this info can be
placed on the applications to be put on the SFAA-NJ computer website.
NEW
BUSINESS:
Dover
made a motion that all of our 2002 meetings be held at the Woodbridge Elks in
Woodbridge, NJ, second by Shongum. The
motion was tabled until our January meeting.
Our January meeting will be held at the
